V1 Net Allows Check-In Over the Internet
FREDERICK, MD (USA) –
September 28, 2006 – Visual One Systems has added a guest-friendly feature to
speed-up the check-in process at hotels and to decrease labor requirements at a
hotel’s front desk: advanced check-in over the Internet.
V1Net is Visual One’s
browser-based property management software and is designed to operate over the
Internet (but can also be hosted “locally” at your hotel). Check-in over the
‘net allows guests to confirm their sleeping room reservation, confirm a payment
method, and choose a room via the hotel’s web site. The guest can print a
check-in voucher on their printer and, upon arriving at the hotel, can merely
exchange the voucher for a room key.
Visual One Systems is
currently in discussions with lock vendors so that guests can bypass the front
desk entirely and merely use their credit card as the room key. The credit card
would have to be the same card that was used in the check-in process.

V1 Preferred PMS Status by Boutique Hotels

October 31, 2006 - Visual One is pleased to announce that Boutique Hotels
and Resorts of British Columbia has contracted Visual One as being the
preferred vendor for PMS, Accounting, and Condo Management systems for their
7 luxury resort properties.
The first installation at The Cove Lakeside Resort in Westbank, BC has been
completed where Visual One installed the V1 PMS, V1 Back Office Accounting,
V1 Condo Owner Management, V1 Central Guest History and V1 Multi-property
Enterprise systems. The next installation will commence at the beginning
of 2007 at the Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC where V1 will install the
same systems with the addition of also installing the V1 Sales & Catering,
V1 Spa, and V1 Restaurant POS systems.

Agilysys Completes Acquisition of Visual One
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Jan. 25, 2007 – Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ:

it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Visual One Systems,
Corp., a privately-held company with U.S. headquarters in Frederick, Md.,
and Europe headquarters in Leatherhead, Surrey, U.K.

Windows®-based software for the hospitality industry, including
additional applications in
